More than
television!
The BBC is part of everyday British life. Whether it's the shows we love, the local radio services in our communities, or the big national moments we experience together. But it's more than just a comfort.
In a world that's increasingly complicated and divided, the BBC keeps us safe. It checks the facts. It gives us information we can trust. It creates thousands of local jobs and builds Britain's reputation around the world
What’s at stake
The BBC’s Royal Charter is being reviewed right now. The Charter determines what the BBC can do, how much money it gets and how independent it remains. When renewed, the government can reduce services, cut funding, narrow the BBC's mission, or weaken protections from political pressure.
All the things we love about the BBC are at risk. But public support makes a real difference.
Why your voice matters
Governments listen when the public speaks up. With enough people speaking up about how important the BBC is to us and what we want from its future, we can help keep it strong, independent and there for everyone. And that’s where you come in.

There are plenty of ways to show your support and get involved in the campaign. Start with one, or do all three.
